Nico Cuteness

My BFF Michelle and her baby Nico (aka my godson) were just in So Cal recently. They live in New York with baby daddy/hubby Matt (happy belated father's day Matt!)


Nico is SOOO motherhumping cute, if Michelle and Matt didn't love him so much I'd steal that little bugger.

Ummm...He and I need some more quality time together so as to avoid situations like these:



We were good at walking around together though.
But alas, all good things must come to an end...


He's so cute and smart and handsome...He knows how to say bye and he's not even a year old yet.

disclaimer: Nico hardly EVER cries. It was late, he was tired and I was forcing him to love me. Even Dave cries when I do that to him and he's like 28 years older.

I miss my bear.

I got Chloe from the pound. I decided on a Monday morning that I wanted a pup, and I'm pretty sure by the next Monday I was paying for her. I looked around at other places, but none of them felt as awesome as Chlo Chlo....Here are some of the pups were were considering.

And Ea (we just named her Ea, but i'm not sure what her name really is now). But this is what I decided on.

This blog was my excuse so that I wouldn't have to clean. We're still cleaning up this new Echo Park apt. and it is effing killing me.

Race Around the Nation in 24 Hours

This past weekend, I went to Ludlow, VT to attend my dear friend's wedding. Sara was one of six girls that I lived with in Florence and I was honored to be one of 50 guests in her intimate wedding. It was beautiful and she was stunning. However, I will not be doing this anytime soon.

My itinerary:
Friday 10:30 pm flight from Los Angeles, CA to Boston, MA
Saturday 6:00 am arrive in Boston
nap for a few hours at our friend Alex's gorgeous house (Alex was also one of the girls I lived with in Italy)
Saturday 2:00 pm frantically drive to Ludlow, VT (we thought it would be a much shorter drive, but it ended up being 3 hours away)
Saturday 6:00 pm arrive in Ludlow, VT
Saturday 6:00 pm attend Sara's wedding
Sunday 12:10 am leave for Boston, MA
Sunday 2:30 am arrive in Boston, MA
nap for 3 hours
Sunday 5:30 am wake up and get in the car for the airport
Sunday 8:00 am flight from Boston, MA to Denver, CO
Sunday 11:00 am flight from Denver, CO to Los Angeles, CA
Sunday 12:45 pm arrive in Los Angeles, CA

OMG!



Sara, I love you, and you and Jeremy better grow old together because I am not doing that again.

Yay SARA and JEREMY. Congratulations you two! Make some cute babies...and come visit me!!!! Alex, my monkey, it was so good to see you!!!
