I bought this book a few months ago. It tells you about different walking tours you can make yourself in LA. We've been meaning to go on a walk, but we finally did this past Saturday (which was actually really the perfect day for it since it rained on Friday making Saturday crisp and clear).
Anyway, we walked around Echo Park and Angelino Heights...it was a two mile walk, totally easy and jampacked with amazing houses to see. Most of these homes were built in the late 1800s, and most of them are actually preserved monuments.
There were Mexican style homes

a house being built from the ground up, strike that, reverse it....strange.
chloe likes the leaves changing color cuz she can camouflage.
and that is the end of their street...thats the LA skyline!
Then we ventured downtown to Angelique Cafe to conclude our Angel-ino-ique day.
dave's still getting used to his facial hair.
